Summary

Description The admirable bolete (Boletus mirabilis) mushroom growing out of a decaying hemlock stump in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Washington, USA. Forest type was mountain hemlock (Tsuga mertensiana) and pacific silver fir (Abies amabilis).
