Deutsch: Durch Bestrahlung mit einer UV-Lampe werden Flüssigkristalle sensibilisiert, die in direkter Verbindung mit den Tasten der Maschine stehen. Fährt eine statisch aufgeladene Hand über die Tasten, erscheinen entsprechende Zeichen und Ziffern auf dem Flüssigkristall-Display.
English: Liquid crystals directly connected with the keys of the machine are sensitized through exposure to an ultra-violet lamp. When a hand charged with static electricity touches the keys, characters and numbers appear in the liquid crystal display.
