English: Teaser ad for the American film Auction of Souls (1919), which does not mention the name of the film or its actress, on page 486 of the April 26, 1919 Moving Picture World. The ad refers to early showings of the film in New York and other major cities where a $10 admission was charged to raise funds for Armenian relief. When the film was issued for general release later that year, many theater ads compared their admission price with the $10 paid for the early showings of the film.
