Description
English: Attractive house. On the corner of Cliff Avenue and Norwich Road (A149). A similar house stands on the other side of the road > 791372. With the arrival of the railway line in 1877, and with the Great Eastern running the 'Norfolk Coast Express' direct from London's Liverpool Street to Cromer, stopping only once (in North Walsham) by 1897, architects were commissioned to erect tall red brick houses with bay windows, gables, dormers and the occasional domed angle turret. The principal architect was G.J. Skipper of Norwich. This dwelling was designed by Norwich Architect Augustus Frederic Scott
