English: Aston Martin Bulldog at Kensington Palace for the Aston Martin centennial celebrations.This concept car was built to demonstrate Aston Martin's ability to build a supercar for the eighties.It was long & wide but only seated 2,the first 2 seater Aston since the DB4GT.Noteable for its gullwing doors & drop down flap bonnet to reveal 5 headlights. It had a 5.3l V8 & twin turbo's capable of producing over 700 bhp & potentially a 237 mph top speed,though only 192mph was recorded on a MIRA test track.A short production run was envisaged but never materialised. |
