English: Ashcombe Farm from Kingston Ridge There was once a splendid six sweep windmill at Ashcombe but it was destroyed during a storm on 28th March 1916. On the horizon, the white buildings mark the location of the old Lewes Racecourse which had its last meeting on 14th September 1964.
