Summary

Description Flowerheads are loosely-contracted to pyramidal open panicles 10-40 cm long. Spikelets are 4-7 mm long, 2-flowered and brownish. Upper lemma has a twisted and bent awn arising at/near the apex and is slightly shorter than the upper glume. Flowers after rain.
