English: The ancient Greek goddess Artemis on her chariot drawn by two hinds. The goddess wears her bow in one hand and wears a veil and a crown. The detail is part of a larger scene depicting the death of the hunter Acteon devoured by his own hounds under the gaze of Artemis. Attic red-figure crater. Around 460-440 BC. Attributed to the Painter of the Woolly Satyrs. Vase in the Musée du Louvre, in Paris, France. Reference : Paris Ca3482. Beazley Archive number : 207101. Images transfered from the Theoi.com website.
