English: The rear of Arriva Medway Towns 4045 (GN09 AWW), an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 Dart bus, on Beechings Way, Beechings Green, Medway, Kent, on route 182, which runs from Beechings Green, Twydall to Gillingham and onto Chatham. The lady in the yellow jacket is the driver. Having a quick break, while texting and smoking. The male passenger waits! As a result of spiralling fuel costs and a significant reduction in the amount of reimbursement paid to bus companies for journeys made by those travelling free with their English National Concessionary Travel, Arriva Medway Towns made a number of service changes to their routes from April 2011, with some of the high frequency routes being reduced in frequency. The amount of buses needed to run services was reduced, and as a result bus 4045 and its sister 4044 moved to fellow Arriva Southern Counties company Arriva Guildford & West Surrey on 10 April 2011.
