English: Arctic Sandwort (Arenaria norvegica) One of a handful of plant species protected by special penalties under the Wildlife & Countryside Act (1981) and one of the specialities of the Keen of Hamar NNR. This is a typical plant, with one flower, one leafy stem and a root system barely clinging to the sparse debris soil.
