Summary

Description
English: Midship of the tramp steamer 'Arcwear' and a generic midship of a tramp. Arcform was a Depresion-era design developed by John Isherwood, the theory being that rounder hulls of ships would generate less resistance, thus saving the operator in fuel costs.
