English: Aristotle teaching, from London, British Library MS or. 2784, f. 96r. This part of the manuscript contains the earliest illustrated text of the Kitāb naʿt al-hayawān, a bestiary attributed to Jabril ibn Bukhtishu. From c. 1220, possibly a monastery in North Jazira (in Mesopotamia).
