Description
English: Approaches to bridge Sydney to North Sydney in combination with scheme for remodelling the "Rocks" district / ariel view of remodelling proposal 1891.

Printed at lower centre "E. Leggatt / 91". Inscribed in ink at bottom right "Norman Selfe 1901 Memb. Inst. C.E." At bottom left is printed "Grade of Railway Approach 1 in 40. do. do. Roadway do. 1 in 25 / With Improvements to Streets and Ferry Wharves also Continuous Low Level Road around the Foreshores with Direct Connection from Sussex St to the Circular Quay."

Possibly a representation of a design submitted to the 1891 Royal Commission on City and Suburban Railways (Q339.5/N Location Mitchell Library), which looked at proposals for bridges across the Harbour.
