Antoine le Maistre, (Antoine Arnauld), the first of the self-titled "Solitaires," a prominent lawyer and ranking Jansenist Reformer. Nephew of Antoine Arnauld and Soeur Angélique of the Abbey Port-Royal des Champs. Inscription on back of copper plate.
