Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	1. It is a historically significant photo of a famous individual. A search on Google for "Anshe Chung Businessweek" produces more than 6000 hits and links to several hundred copies of the image used in blog articles. T 2. That an avatar made it on the cover of a major news magazine like Business Week, for the first time ever, was newsworthy by itself. 3. It is of much lower resolution than the original. Copies made from it will be of very inferior quality. 4. The photo is only being used for informational purposes. 5. Its inclusion in the article adds significantly to the article because the photo and its historical significance are the object of discussion in the article and in news articles about the person the article is about.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	Because the fact that an avatar makes the front page of a major news/business magazine is newsworthy and a major milestone in the development of virtual worlds, virtual economies and virtual societies. It is also closely related to the biography of Anshe Chung and her perception.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	This is the only file/image for this article sofar. Several people agreed before that this photo ideally fits the content of the article and it was used there for two years, but deleted from the image database of Wikipedia because a proper explanation concerning its fair use was missing.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	Because it is low resolution, not of any use for physical reproduction and rather advertises the product of the creator than competing with the product.
