DescriptionAnnual growth in family income vs tax rate.png
English: Annual growth of income for each income groups from 1947 to 2015 separated by range of upper income tax level. The greatest growth rate was when the income tax was the greatest, from 1947 to 1963, and that growth was shared relatively equally by all income groups other than the top 1%. As the upper income tax decreased, growth decreased, and growth became stratified, going mostly to the upper incomes, with income for the top 1% dramatically increasing for upper tax levels of 50% or less. Data from US Census.[1]
