Nederlands: De ongelukkige omstandigheid van werkloos raken zou een stimulans moeten zijn om zeer gemotiveerd werk te zoeken, maar de praktijk is weerbarstiger.
Anne Gielen, senior onderzoeker bij het IZA in Bonn, heeft met een Duitse SOEP-data ( Sociaal-Economisch Panel ) onderzoek gedaan naar het geluk-ongeluksgevoel van werklozen en merkt op dat de helft geen gevoel van ongelukkig zijn heeft bij het werkloos worden en dat zelfs 25% gelukkiger is geworden door het werkloos zijn. Overheidsingrijpen blijft nodig om mensen weer in het arbeidsproces te krijgen. |
