Description
Unlettered proof of a 19th century lithograph believed to be of Ann Thwaytes (1789-1866). Lithograph by Richard James Lane after Alfred Edward Chalon, R.A. who exhibited his original oil painting at the Royal Academy in 1841. Ann Thwaytes was the benefactress who paid for the erection of the Clock Tower at Herne Bay, Kent, England.
