Description
English: A rim sherd from an Early-Medieval/Anglo-Saxon Thetford ware deep bowl. It has a grey fabric with sandy inclusions and stamped cross-hatched decoration on the upper surface of the rim. The sherd measures approximately 260mm in diameter, 75.46mm in width, 39.65mm in height, 7.08mm in thickness, and weighs 51.68g. It dates to between c.900 and 1100 AD.
