English: I designed this symbol in 2001, a couple years after I began studying Anarchist and Communist theory. It has since been used by a few activist groups, most noteably the Red & Anarchist Action Network. I wanted to make something that would signify the much needed unity between all anti-authoritarians, whether they consider themselves to be under the banner of Anarchism, Libertarian Socialism, Anarcho-Communism, or no banner at all.
The symbol is a convolution of the hammer and sickle of communism and the circled letter A of anarchism.
