Summary

Description

A wounded man points while fellow soldiers surround him. The text in the box describes the actions of Marcellus H. Charles, for which he was awarded the medal of honor, while the text in the lower left asks civilians to "show that spirit of indomitable, unflinching Americanism" by purchasing Victory Liberty Loans. Created in 1919 by R. G. Morgan for the Victory Liberty Loan Committee.
