Description
English: This is a fragment of Amalia Tuff from an outcropping near Petaca, New Mexico, USA. The fragment is about 5 cm in width. The Amalia Tuff was erupted from the Questa caldera around 26 million years ago, and the outcrop from which this fragment was taken is 45 km from the remnants of the caldera.
