Description
English: German-American brewer William J. Lemp Jr. maintained a 200-acre estate on the bluffs of the Meramec River in St. Louis County MO. The "big house", known as Alswel, was built between 1911 and 1914 in the "Tyrolean Chalet" style. Image shows the back of the house looking north.
