Summary

Description
English: Example of the Anglo-Irish poet William Allingham's youthful broadsheets showing an early version of "The Winding Banks of Erne, Or the Emigrant's Adieu to Ballyshannon" (afterwards published as "Adieu to Belashanny"). This broadsheet probably pre-dates the first formal publication, which was in the Dublin University Magazine for February 1858, p. 173. Photo of the original in private collection of the uploader.
