Broadcasted on May 25, 1925. This work falls in the public domain as it has no (c) (published in the United States between 1923 and 1977 without a (c) notice, see Wikipedia:Public_domain).
The lack of copyright notice is confirmed by Russel Merritt & JB Kaufman, in Walt in Wonderland: films before Alice Charms the Fish, september 6 1926, do not have any copyright notice with the exception of Alice Solves the Puzzle and Alice Wins the Derby.
Ray Pointer also confirms the lack of (c): Disney's initial efforts, the Laugh-O-Grams and the Alice Comedies have become "orphaned films," having been lost in the sea of the Public Domain. None of Disney's works were registered for copyright until late 1926. (RP also published a DVD of these cartoons).
Public domain works must be out of copyright in both the United States and in the source country of the work in order to be hosted on the Commons. If the work is not a U.S. work, the file must have an additional copyright tag indicating the copyright status in the source country. Note: This tag should not be used for sound recordings.PD-1923Public domain in the United States//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Alice%27s_Egg_Plant_(1925).png
