English: Posthumously issued silver tetradrachm of Alexander III "the Great" of Macedon, c. 315-294 BC, Reference: Price 486. Silver tetradrachm of Alexander the Great, minted at Amphipolis. The obverse depiction of Heracles is the model for the obverse of Carthage's Series V silver tetradrachms.
