DescriptionAlder Hills, The Dorset Knob - geograph.org.uk - 1198207.jpg
English: Alder Hills, The Dorset Knob Hall & Woodhouse pub in Alder Road. Internally, central rectangular bar with separate drinking areas to left, front & right. Pleasantly not over-modernised; dark wood glazed screens & stone fireplaces. Cask ale on offer at my visit: Badger. The name presumably refers to a traditional Dorset biscuit, which to some tastes like balls of very stale, very crunchy white bread.
