Al Hajarayn is one of the many villages in the Hadramaut Gouvernorate of Yemen that sit perched atop bluffs or cliffs overlooking the wadis or seasonal rivers that criss-cross the region. The houses are built using mud brick, which are susceptible to being washed away.
