Par conséquent, le signal de sortie numérique provenant (généralement) d'un lecteur de CD pourrait être entré directement dans la platine à cassette, une caractéristique qui était / est extrêmement rare, voire unique dans le secteur des platines à cassette. This was a high-priced device (in 2023 money value ca. 1200 Euros) which had some top of the range features (3 heads, 3 motors, Dolby B, C, S) and one extraordinary feature, which is a 18-bit dual digital analog converter, as well as a coaxial digital and an optical digital input. Hence, the digital output signal from (typically) a CD player could be input directly into the cassette deck, a feature which was/is extremely seldom, if not unique in the cassette deck sector. Technical data (in German) Deutsch: Aiwa XK-S 7000 Kassettendeck, gebaut von 1992 bis 1994. Dies war ein hochpreisiges Gerät (nach dem Geldwert von 2023 ca. 1200 Euro), das einige Funktionen von Spitzengeräten hatte (3 Köpfe, 3 Motoren, Dolby B, C, S) und ein außergewöhnliches Feature, nämlich einen 18-Bit-Dual-Digital-Analog-Wandler sowie einen koaxialen Digital- und einen optischen Digitaleingang. Daher konnte das digitale Ausgangssignal von (typischerweise) einem CD-Player direkt in das Kassettendeck eingespeist werden, eine Funktion, die im Kassettendecksektor äußerst selten, wenn nicht sogar einzigartig war/ist.
