She and her husband Pharaoh Ahmose appear posthumously and are deified in wall paintings in the tombs of nobles (some in near later dynasties) as objects of worship, Explanation as to the variation of Ahmose-Nefertari's skin color in the different tombs is uncertain and is not explained in known ancient Egyptian text.
