Summary
[edit]- Ahmed Abdullah Al Masdoosi, A big cleric, lawyer and writer from Hyderabad. colleague to Nawab Bahadur Yar jung, and one of the executive members of the then Majlis ittihad ul muslimeen. Migrated to Pakistan in 1949 after the annex of Hyderabad to Indian Union. He wrote a few but competent books (such as ISBN:114139815X. - Living Religions of the World, and 2. Africa, A Challenge in Urdu) and served as Professor of Law at Karachi University, whose books are included in the curriculum. He was member of Central Zakat Committee by the then Govt of Pakistan. His lifetime project was to compile Atlas on Seera of Muhammad and History of Islam. Name is also written as el Masdusi. His brother Salam Masdoosi was Islamic scholar and cleric at Mahboobnagar India.
