Summary

Description
English: This is a close-up of an interchangeable spray chamber (ion source) for mass spectrometers intended for use with liquid chromatography (LC-MS) produced by Agilent. It carries out electrospray and APCI ionisation separately, and combines the ion-streams at the mass spec's inlet. It's annotated to show the major parts; the heater and nebulizer are at the top, concealed by the housing of the spray chamber.
