Summary

Description
English: In season fruits called ntundulu from the plant called kitundibila (Aframomum alboviolaceum). The skin is cut/split open and discarded, and the entire fruit pulp inside including seeds is eaten whole. Pleasantly tart, often eaten seasoned with a little spicy bit of dried red pepper and salt type of dry chutney.
