English: An Afghan Mi-17 helicopter flown by Lt. Col. Bakhtullah, 377th Afghan Air Force Squadron commander, takes off for an air-assault training flight, May 29 from Kabul International Airport, Afghanistan. Bakhtullah and the squadron's standardization officer, Maj. Farid, are participating in an air-assault planning certification course mentored by 10th Combat Aviation Brigade advisers in preparation to begin instructing their aviators in air mission planning procedures.
