Its presence is necessary to illustrate the subject of the article, and there is no free alternative because any screenshot of copyrighted software will always be a fair use image. Additionally because this screenshot encompasses two blatantly copyrighted software (Adobe Ultra and Microsoft Windows XP), this rationale covers both.
