| Description |
English: The Government of Japan announced the foreign recipients of the 2018 Spring Imperial Decorations. Dato Paduka (Dr.) Mohd Adnan bin Buntar is among this year’s foreign recipients. Dato Mohd Adnan bin Buntar attended the presentation ceremony and was given an audience with His Majesty the Emperor at the Imperial Palace on 8 May.
Dato Mohd Adnan bin Buntar contributed to the promotion of friendship between Japan and Brunei Darussalam during his tenure as Ambassador of Brunei to Japan. After his retirement, Dato Adnan continued to engage in activities to enhance friendship between two countries in Brunei Japan Friendship Association (BJFA). He is currently acting as Adviser I of the BJFA. On 24 May, H.E. Ambassador Motohiko Kato invited Dato Adnan bin Buntar to the Embassy and congratulated him and expressed his gratitude for his contributions. Dato Adnan thanked the Government of Japan and expressed his commitment to continue his activities to strengthen bilateral relations. |
