Description
English: Wheat field at Hilston, Holderness, East Riding of Yorkshire, England, with Admiral Storr's Tower on the brow of the hill.
The tower is an brick octagon, 50 ft high, built in 1750 for Joseph Storr (d. 1753). By 1852 was named after his son, Rear Admiral John Storr. It served as a seamark was used as a hospital for troops camped on the coast in 1794–5.
