Novel, lightweight, low-cost fluid powered robotic hand fabricated at Oak Ridge National Laboratory using additive manufacturing technology selected for a 2012 R&D 100 award. Electron-beam additive manufacturing at ORNL produced this fully functional robotic hand and the mesh ball it is holding, both made from titanium powder.
