A CLASSIC and aesthetic, stacked thumbnail cluster of lustrous, gray acanthite cubes from the famous Rayas Mine at Guanajuato, Mexico. The largest cubes perched at the top and the hoppered crystals are a very nice effect. Specimens like this are why the Rayas Mine is often considered as producing some of the worlds finest acanthites. The combination of sharp crystal form and excellent lustre are the reasons. Ex. Dick Jones Collection.
Lieu de découverte : Mine de San Juan de Rayas (Mine de Rayas, Mine de Reyes), Guanajuato, commune de Guanajuato, état de Guanajuato, Mexique (voir mindat.org)
Size: 2.3 x 1.5 x 1.0 cm.
