English: Acacia leiocalyx, the early-flowering black wattle, is small to medium sized shrub in 7th Brigade Park. It is common in sites that are disturbed mechanically or by fire, regenerating from the soil seed bank. 'Leaves' are phyllodes, modified leaf petioles. Juvenile plants have true bi-pinnate leaves but these are soon lost.
