English: Recruiting advertisement of the Royal Australian Naval Volunteer Reserve (RANVR), 1941.

ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY. Applications are required from gentlemen between the ages of 20-27 years for Commission as Sub-Lieutenant R.A.N.V.R. for Anti-Submarine Work. Candidates must possess at least a Junior Certificate or its equivalent. Preference will be given to applicants who have Sea or Yachting experience, a knowledge of Electricity, Radio, etc., knowledge of Mathematics, Spherical Trigonometry, Calculus, etc.

Full particulars may be obtained from the Naval Secretary, Naval Staff Office, Fremantle.
