Object history
English: The arms were granted on April 27, 1962. The arms show the head of the local patron saint, St. Dionysius. The three bezants are derived from the arms of the Nonnenberg Convent, which owned much of the territory in the municipality for over 1000 years.
Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde der Gemeinde von der Salzburger Landesregierung am 27. April 1962 verliehen. Es zeigt das Haupt des heiligen Dionysius, Kirchenpatron der Gemeinde, diedrei3 goldenen Kugeln sind ein Symbol der 1000-jährigen Grundherrschaft durch Stift Nonnberg.
