Description
English: I, w:User:dpryan (Devon Ryan), created this image from the crystal structure (1SU4.pdb). The original source publication for the crystal structure is:

Toyoshima, C., Nakasako, M., Nomura, H., Ogawa, H. Crystal structure of the calcium pump of sarcoplasmic reticulum at 2.6 A resolution. Nature v405 pp.647-655 , 2000 The residues in purple are FHM2 mutations (I left out the frameshifts and multiple amino acid deletions). It's actually a Calcium-ATPase, but it's still pretty close to ATP1A2.

I used UCSF Chimera to produce this image. As of October 2006, the only mutations missing are 935K_940SdelinsI, S966LfsX998, and X1021RextX28.
