DescriptionARLINGTON HOUSE - SPEIGHTSTOWN - BARBADOS.jpg
English: ARLINGTON HOUSE BUILT IN 1750 AND DESCRIBED AS A SINGLE HOUSE. IT IS BELIEVED TO BE THE MODEL WHICH WAS TAKEN TO CHARLESTON, S.C. BY ITS ORIGINAL BARBADIAN SETTLERS WHO WERE THE FIRST TO SETTLE THAT STATE. THE MERCHANT SKINNER FAMILY OCCUPIED THE HOUSE FOR 200 YEARS AND RAN A CHANDLERY IN THE GROUND FLOOR.
T=WIKIPEDIA HAS NO ARTICLE ON THIS HOUSE BUT DOES HAVE AN ARTICLE OF "SPEIGHTSTOWN". IT IS ALLUDED TO BY REFERRING TO MANY COLONIAL HOUSES OF WHICH THIS IS A PRIME EXAMPLE
