Summary

Description
English: Contemporary art glass elevation by ARCHIGLASS Tomasz Urbanowicz inspired by the nonexistent body of the post office. The elevation marks the main entrance to the Justin Center Building and thanks to its transparency and the way it plays with the light it livens up the hall and street showing the author’s respect for history. This work of art is 10 meters tall.

The Justin Center was designed by ARCH-E Biuro Projektowe. The architects knew that they were building a modern building in the same spot, where the monumental neo-baroque Old Post Office stood from 1888 until the end of WW2. The elevation of this historic building had been designed by Walter Kyllmann and Adolph Heyden, architects from Berlin.
