Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_88283_20220628_120258.jpg Notes: הַמַּעְפִּיל הוא קיבוץ מזרם הקיבוץ הארצי-השומר הצעיר. נוסד ב 1938, עלה לקרקע: ב1945. היישוב הוא חלק ממ.א עמק חפר.קבוצת "המעפיל" נוסדה בשנת 1938 בחדרה. גרעין מייסדיו היו יוצאי השומר הצעיר בגליציה, פולין, גרמניה ואוסטריה, שקיבלו את הכשרתם במרחביה, בבית זרע ובמעברות. רוב חברי הקבוצה היו מעפילים ומכאן בחרו את שם הקבוצה. האדמות אשר עליהן הוקם הקיבוץ נרכשו ב 1932 על ידי יהושע חנקין מידי הכפר הערבי קאקון, מגדולי היישובים הערביים בשרון בזמנו. בשנת 1942 רכשה קקל אדמות נוספות אשר העברו לקיבוץ המעפיל.
