Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_88165_20220623_093511.jpg Notes: עֵין שָׂרִיד הוא מושב באזור השרון השייך למועצה אזורית לב השרון. היישוב הוקם בשנת 1950. ראשוני המתיישבים, כ־60 משפחות בנות גלויות שונות, נשלחו לעין שריד על ידי מרכז הקליטה של מפא"י. בשנים הראשונות סיווג היישוב לא היה חד־משמעי והוא הוגדר פעם כמושב עובדים ופעם כשיכון עולים. מקור השם עין שריד הוא על שם המתיישבים הראשונים, שריד מיהדות אירופה. בשנת 1989 הוגדל היישוב, בשנת 1994 הוקמה ההרחבה הראשונה המכונה "עין שריד החדשה", ובשנת 2009 הוקמה הרחבה נוספת במערב היישוב. עין שריד מונה כיום כ־1,620 איש.
