Summary

Description
English: Wide view of mud volcanos as seen by HiRISE. Colored strip is about 1 km across. The mud volcano has a different color because it consists of material that was deep underground. Mud can be buried and pressurized. Pressure will cause it to erupt to the surface through a weak spot.
