Summary

Description
English: 2 minute exposure of asteroid 7 Iris (blooming star to the lower left of I) with a 24" telescope. Iris is apparent magnitude 10.1 in this image taken at 2009-10-01 02:30 UT. (The moon was 90% full and 53 degrees away. Astronomical twilight ended at 02:15 UT and sunset was at 01:00 UT.) The star just to the upper left of Iris is TYC 6275-527-1 at magnitude 11.2. The star blooming to the far lower left of Iris is TYC 6275-164-1 at magnitude 10.0.
