English: The picture shows the EMC apparatus being assembled in EHN2. The large black object is one half of the H2 Scintillation calorimeter hodoscope. The muon beam passes from right to left in the picture through the semicircular hole in the H2 hodoscope (the circle being completed by the second half of H2). The block of iron painted green is the absorber for strongly interacting particles. The weakly interacting muons pass though this absorber. The blue objects (far left) are the magnets for a different experiment (The Bologna, CERN, Dubna, Munich and Saclay (BCDMS), NA4 Experiment), being assembled downstream of the EMC apparatus. This experiment took experiment took data at the same time as the EMC.
